Sing and Swing

Full day course

Be engaged by this lively workshop which will equip you to encourage children to enjoy using their voice, as well as being part of new instrument activities and dances.

You will learn about:

• Learn singing songs including vocal warm-ups, vocal sounds, echo songs, question answer songs and songs from other cultures

• Be involved in percussion instrument activities to music and performing instrument arrangements to song

• See movement and dance songs demonstrated with a focus on introducing and preparing children to enjoy them fully

• Explore ways to use visual aids and props to support vocal skills and develop co-ordination
