What's Happening with Hands?

Short course

This short course examines how children learn to use their hands for creative, playful and early classroom related movement skills. It assists the participants to deepen their understanding of this area of development.

You will learn about:

• How children learn to control and use their hands effectively

• Playful ways to encourage the refinement of emerging fine motor skills

• Suggestions for maximizing active engagement in pre-writing, scissors and fine motor play
